On The Ebro – Carp and Cat Fishing Holidays on the River Ebro in Spain

We are based in the Town of Flix, the fishing here is superb, match it with the scenery, weather and over 20  years experience fishing this fabulous river you have everything you need for a fantastic fishing holiday.

On The Ebro is based in a truly beautiful and peaceful location, apart from the fishing you can relax and enjoy your time here. We can tend to all your needs allowing you to concentrate on the fishing and getting the most out of your stay.

We cater for a maximum of 4 people at any one time.

Nothing is too much trouble, we will always try and put you in the best spots possible depending on the time of year and river conditions, most of which are just a few minutes away. We only use top quality branded fishing tackle, which is upgraded regularly and included in your stay. Whilst you are fishing we can provide cool bags even deliver packed lunches and meals.

Flix is a small friendly Town and has the River Ebro flowing both sides via the “Meander”. The river has carved out the Meander creating a beautiful natural backdrop.  The Town stretch is always good for a bite or two with a large stock of resident carp and the cat fishing is good too with Cats well over the 150lb mark present. The Factory stretch located above the dam is home to some of the Ebro’s larger residents. With cats here recorded to over 200lb and carp to over 50lb here can really deliver you your dream fish. This stretch also allows 24 hour fishing which gives you the opportunity to really maximise your stay.

These are not the only places you can fish with us we offer excursions to  Ribaroja, Mequinenza and Caspe, three other popular places to fish.

We like you to get involved

At On The Ebro we like you to get involved with the fishing. Although in some stretches  it is necessary to row your baits out we prefer locations where you can do all the fishing yourself from the bank. The feeling of baiting up, casting out, playing and landing the fish from start to finish is no comparison to that of a rig cast or dropped out for you. We are on hand to help with anything, setting up, tying of rigs, handling or weighing the fish and of course making sure you are fishing the correct areas.

We cater for all classes of angler, we are all different be it physically,  age or  experience we can adapt your stay to suit you and your groups needs, making sure everyone gets what they want from their stay.
