Back again (thank you guys) after a fantastic trip here last year, but not after getting Married in Australia, prob 5 more other holidays visit family down the bottom here in Spain all perfectly organised by Beverly.
Fishing started a bit slow in the heat of the day so as the sun pasted over I had the bright idea of going lighter!! so carp rod 30lb leader size 6 hook and 2 12mm pellets that will get the carp interested. 5 mins went by when the rod ripped off and Ash is bent into a steam train! Opps 2 mins later it made the far bank and cut us off. Bright idea No. 2 and I set up the original rods again with 2 12mm pellets. Prob 10 mins went by and Ash is bent into a steam train, great fight and great result in this 88lb cat.
The next 2 hrs produced 6 more fish including carp to 20lbs and cats to 50lb so good first day.
The next few days produced some good sport with more carp and cats including 2 more 60’s and a nice uncommon Mirror.
With some nice food and wine great company these 4 night breaks go too quickly.
Ash and Bev are off on a round the world cruise followed by lots more holidays and then more holidays!!!!
